Last weekend, we went on our annual apple picking excursion. Because of the weird weather, the apples came early this year. In fact, the first orchard we went to was already picked out! But we persevered and we got a big old bag of apples.
This weekend I’ll be making a big batch of applesauce (it’ll be gone by Wednesday, probably, since I love it so much!). I didn’t get a chance to make it last weekend, because I was too busy making pumpkin soup + oatmeal raisin cookies. The fall makes cooking more fun.
P.S. I love how the apples look against our green kitchen walls. Perfect.
